Martha Sharkey, Founder & CEO of Today is a Good Day, a nonprofit which provides personal and financial support to families who experience the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, won the Judges’ Award at Friday's MISSION Story Slam and a $250 donation.


Zakya Hall

Zakya Hall, Membership & Communications Manager of Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations, a nonprofit dedicated to advocacy, policy development, and technical assistance for community development corporations, won the MISSION Story Slam Crowd Favorite Award and a $100 donation.


Jenifer Trachtman

Jenifer Trachtman is the Director of Development for the Monell Center, a biomedical research institute in Philadelphia. The Monell Center studies the senses of smell and taste, and that research has become increasingly important in the COVID era.


Brian Weiner

Brian Weiner is the President of Philadelphia Independence Awards for High School Musical Theater.  The Philadelphia Independence Awards were created by high school theater teachers and directors for the purpose of sharing and awarding outstanding student theater performances and productions in the Philadelphia region.


Lawrence Husick

Lawrence Husick’s day job is intellectual property attorney. He’s also (in no particular order) a terrorism expert, a teacher, an entrepreneur, a husband, father, and grandfather, guitar player, sailor, environmental chemist and computer geek.
