Charles Black shared a story about their experience with speech therapy, workplace challenges, and the importance of avoiding judgment. The Judges thought it was the best story of the night and Charles won $250 for Philly's Mazzoni Center.

Deian McBryde shares a story about his decision to migrate to Philadelphia from Albuquerque and all the judgments along the way. Deian told his story for William Way LGBTQ+ Center

COLIN TEAGUE

While traveling through Chile, Colin Teague of The Energy Co-Op came up short attempting to pay the border tax. His judgements almost kept him from making it into Bolivia and making new friends.

ARUN PRABHAKARA

Arun Prabhakara shared how his family history led to his outreach work in Kensington, Philadelphia and how he believes our judgements lead us to create a cycle of poverty and suffering in life. Arun told his story for the Maternity Care Coalition

KAREN SINGER

Karen Singer uses her art to help those affected by domestic violence. By creating a "No Judgement Zone" in her studio she helps others suspend their own harsh self-judgement. Karen told her story for Women In Transition

CHRISTOPHER EZOLD

Christopher Ezold recalled some incidents of childhood which may have given him a sense of "unearned confidence" and lack of judgement. Christopher told his story for the Support Center for Child Advocates

ZACHARY BONNEYSON

Zachary Bonneyson recounts how the many setbacks in his life led him to start Live CarePhilly an organization that uses printing services to promote dignity through creative expression.

JULIE HANCHER

Julie Hancher of Green Philly shared a story of how finger-pointing can be counter-productive to good collective action on behalf of the environment. Julie told her story for PAWS.

David Pressel told us of an incident in his life where a rush to judgement showed him the error of his ways. David tol his story for the Sunday Love Project

MICHAEL SCHWEISSHEIMER

Michael Schweisheimer, founder and Executive Producer of PWPvideo, told a story where his lack of judgement led to an issue of color that wasn't so black & white.
