Mission Story Slam Podcast 48: Julie Hancher
Julie Hancher is the co-founder and editor of Green Philly, the independent journalism outlet covering sustainability in Philadelphia for nearly two decades. A four-time Mission Story Slam storyteller, and a judge at the 12th edition, We finally got Julie onto the podcast. Most recently, she shared her story at Mission Story Slam 14: No Judgment, tracing Green Philly’s journey from a 2008 passion-project blog to a trusted, fiscally sponsored newsroom. Julie and Michael dig into who really bears responsibility for sustainability, SustainPHL, and why she keeps coming back to the Slam.
