KAREN SINGER
Artist Karen Singer is the owner of Karen Singer Tileworks in Germantown, Philadelphia and creates works of great beauty in her studio there. Her tile Donor Walls help nonprofits raise money and her classes teach new artists the skills to create with ceramic. Karen is also on the Board of Women In Transition, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that helps women dealing with domestic abuse and substance abuse issues. Karen’s story about escaping an abusive relationship won the first MISSION Story Slam.
